VCIS students have been demonstrating success, commitment, dedication and outstanding effort in leadership, lessons and extracurricular activities since our return to school in January. January Monthly Fitness Challenge: Our students were challenged with the task of running, cycling or swimming as far as they could in the month of January. Students were asked to attempt to complete a run/swim for Bronze (25km), Silver (50km) or Gold (75km) awards. They were to record results on Strava or other similar tracking apps as evidence of their hard work and commitment to fitness. For those who wanted to complete the task cycling, the distances were three times as much. Bronze (75km), Silver (150km), Gold (225km). Two Varee students went above and beyond this criteria!! The PE department had to create three entirely new levels of award; Diamond (100km), Platinum (125km) & Ruby (150km)! The following students deserve recognition for their dedication to improving their health. Running: Naam-Oon (Y9) 126.73km PLATINUM HJ (Y7) 75.28km GOLD Wantan (Y9) 63.22km SILVER Ryu (Y13) 52km SILVER Swimming: Helene (Y7) 163.9km RUBY
